Assistant Professor position at Missouri State University with a focus on Information Technology and Cybersecurity

Join the Department of Information Technology and Cybersecurity at Missouri State University in the College of Business! We are currently seeking applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position starting August 14th, 2024. Qualified candidates should hold a Ph.D. from an AACSB accredited institution in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or a related field. ABDs with expected completion by August 2024 will also be considered.

We are looking for individuals with a strong research potential and proven teaching abilities in areas such as Cybersecurity, System Hardening, Integration, Application Security, Quality Assurance, Cloud Computing, and other IT and cybersecurity topics. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and conducting research in one or more of the aforementioned areas. Teaching opportunities may include both graduate and undergraduate courses, offered online and in-person. Participation in departmental, college, and university service is also expected.
